DVDFab 2D to 3D Converter is capable of converting any DVD/Blu-ray/video to 3D videos in formats like AVI, MP4, MKV, FLV, M2TS, TS. The output video of this powerful 3D video converter can be played on PCs, some 3D TVs, glasses-free 3D smartphones and some other compatible display devices. DVDFab 2D to 3D Converter is well known for its powerful functionality, fast processing speed and high-quality output.
DVDFab 2D to 3D Converter can convert DVD/Blu-ray/video to different types of 3Ds, including SBS (side-by-side) 3D, top/bottom 3D, interlaced 3D, anaglyph 3D, two separate files and two video streams in one file.
This 3D video converter doesn't work alone and is actually a built-in program. It works with DVDFab DVD Ripper, Blu-ray Ripper, and Video Converter.
Step 1: Start DVDFab and open source
Download DVDFab from our website and run it. DVDFab 2D to 3D Converter works with DVD Ripper, Blu-ray Ripper and Video Converter. So we may begin with one of them to tell you how to use this 3D video converter. We can take "convert 2D DVD to 3D video" as an example. After running DVDFab, navigate to DVD Ripper. Choose "to FLV" on the left pane (we do this also as an example, and there are also many other supported modes). You have three ways to import in your source movie – by inserting a DVD to your computer's hard drive or importing in a DVD folder/image file. Then DVDFab will automatically start to read your DVD contents. A couple of seconds later, the reading process will be over. You can find your DVD has been loaded in as Source. Check the "2D to 3D" box on the main UI to enable the 2D to 3D Converter. You may notice that the main title has been chosen and highlighted automatically by DVD Ripper. You can change to convert other titles, or to convert several titles simultaneously. Actually, you can even convert different titles to different profiles at one time.
Step 2: Set a target and profile for your 3D video
Specify the Target to choose where to save your 3D video output.
Because we choose "to FLV" as an example here, so the Profile option is only one. Some different conversion modes, say, "3D Devices", have several Profile options for you. You can just choose the suitable profile for your specific device.

Step 3: Set audio tracks and subpictures
You can choose your favorite audio tracks and subpictures you want from the right-side options. You may check the "Display only forced subpicture" box if you like. The preview window on the bottom left of the main UI is for you to check whether your settings have been successfully set.

Step 4: Set the video effect
Click the "Video Effect Setting" button. Here, you can see three tabs.
In the 3D tab, you can choose a 3D type for your upcoming 3D video. You can also modify the Gain and Visual Depth freely.

In the Crop tab, you can crop the video image the way you want. You can do this either by typing numbers in the four value boxes marked as "Top, Bottom, Left, Right", or dragging the green crop frame in the movie image. You can also remove the "black bars" as you like.

In the Resize tab, you can set the aspect ratio.

Step 5: Edit the file and convert specific movie chapters
Click the "Edit" button, then you can set lots of video/audio parameters here. You can set bit rate, frame rate, frame resolution, aspect ratio, audio channel, volume, etc.

By the way, you can set to convert only part of the chapters of a movie. If you want to do this, click the "Title Start/End Settings" button on the main UI. Then you will see this window down below.

Step 6: Start conversion
Click the "Start" button on the main UI and begin the conversion. During this process, you can monitor all detailed progress info in the Info page, preview source movie in Preview page, and set auto shutdown for your PC in Option page.

The processing speed of this 3D video converter is really fast and you can get your 3D video soon.
